Endoscopic Sleeve Gastroplasty (ESG) is a procedure for weight loss that involves reducing the volume of
the stomach using an endoscopic suturing device. During the procedure, which is performed under
general anaesthetic, a specially trained endoscopist creates 6-8 folds along the greater curve of the
stomach.
